BLC 2025

BioGuard is excited to head to New Orleans, Louisiana for the 2025 BioGuard Leadership Conference! Join us January 5-8, 2025 at The Roosevelt New Orleans for a full slate of education and networking events.

The BLC is intended for Business Owners and Managers and education sessions will be geared to helping grow your business and plan for the future. Sessions will be all day on Monday and Tuesday where you will hear from industry and BioGuard experts. We have some spectacular Keynote speakers you won't want to miss!

Capping off each day will be plenty of opportunity for networking and fun in the French Quarter. Sunday is our traditional Welcome Reception at the hotel where you can reconnect with your BioGuard family. On Monday, following a Happy Hour after the education sessions, you'll be at leisure to explore New Orleans for dinner on your own. On Tuesday, we'll experience our own Mardi Gras Party at the fabulous Mardi Gras World for our final evening together. We're sure to make some great memories at the BLC!

Registration officially closes on November 1, 2024; however, once we reach capacity, registration will close and we will go to a waitlist.

We hope to see you in New Orleans!

General Info

No matter the time of year, New Orleans welcomes its visitors in a grand way to experience Caribbean, Spanish, French and African cultures colliding in a brilliant explosion of flavors, emotions and sounds. Music is everywhere, people live to eat and every day is a party in the birthplace of jazz, which is also home to Creole cuisine, centuries-old Spanish oak trees and clacking streetcars.

All are welcome in New Orleans - and BioGuard will showcase the best of New Orleans at the Leadership Conference.

Our host hotel for the BLC is The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Roosevelt garners acclaim for its elegant charm and top-notch service. The hotel's prime location offers both proximity to New Orleans' hotspots and a peaceful haven. Set just half a block off Canal Street on the edge of the Central Business District, The Roosevelt is in a prime position for visiting many of the city's biggest draws. On the other side of Canal Street is the French Quarter and guests can walk to Bourbon Street in just three minutes.

If only the walls could speak, The Roosevelt would tell a century of colorful stories featuring celebrated guests - Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Hope and a host of former US Presidents. The Roosevelt is home to the Sazerac Bar and the Sazerac - official cocktail of New Orleans.

Additional thoughtful amenities include a full-service spa, 24-hour fitness center, gourmet dining, and artfully crafted cocktail lounges spread throughout the property.

All rooms include wi-fi, brand name bath amenities, safe, hair dryer, alarm clock, iron/ironing board and satellite TV.

Check-in at the hotel is 3:00 PM. The hotel will make every effort to have rooms ready for those arriving before 3:00 PM. However, if your room is not ready, please store your bags with the bell staff.

Check-out time on your departure day is 12:00 Noon.

The address for your stay is:

January in New Orleans can be chilly, with average highs in the mid 60's and overnight lows in the mid 40’s.

The attire for the business meetings is business casual. We recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket for the meetings.

Evenings can be cold so bring a jacket for the times you will be leaving the hotel. The French Quarter is only 1 block from The Roosevelt, but outdoors can be chilly in January if you are walking around on the free evening of Monday, January 6th.

For our final night at Mardi Gras World on Tuesday, January 7th, come dressed for the parade - as a reveler, a float rider or in your sparkly best! We'll be embracing all things New Orleans on our final night to include a local live band who can play all genres. Transportation to our final night at Mardi Gras World is provided.
