The dates of the BioGuard Enrichment Conference are Sunday, January 4 to Thursday, 8, 2026.

You are allowed to use Co-Op Funds for a maximum of 7 nights at UNICO, depending on hotel availability. Arrivals can begin as early as Friday, January 2nd, and departures can be as late as Saturday, January 10th, but must include the key dates of the conference (4 nights) January 4th to check out on January 8th.

If you wish to extend your stay either before or after these dates, please make that request when registering. Requests will be honored based on hotel availability.

If you are registering for more than 7 nights at UNICO, you will pay the resort directly for additional nights at check in. Please contact Marlene Conrad at mconrad@woodruffandassociates.com for information on the room rate for additional nights if you are staying more than 7 nights. If you choose to extend your stay more than 7 nights or at another hotel, you will be responsible for your own accommodations and transportation.

The cost of your trip includes the following:

• Hotel accommodations for up to 7 nights, based on hotel availability
• All meals, snacks, and beverages, including 24-hour room service
• BEC events from Sunday through Thursday
• Roundtrip transportation between the International Airport and UNICO 20°87° between January 2nd and January 10th
• $75 credit per person for an off-site optional activity of your choice offered by BioGuard
• 30% discount on spa appointments at Essencia Spa
• Optional BioGuard activities on property
• Free internet and free phone calls back to the continental US and Canada from UNICO
• Local Host: each room at UNICO includes a personal local host/butler who can assist you with dinner reservations or other needs during your stay. 

Please note that airline tickets are NOT included in the cost. All attendees are responsible for making their own airline reservations.

Gratuities have been prepaid for the following services:

• Motor coach drivers to and from the airport

You will be responsible for any incidentals and personal extras, such as:

• Porter service at the International Airport
• Spa & beauty parlor services
• Golf
• Motorized Water Sports
• Off-site activities
• Laundry
• Gift shop charges
• Any other personal items that you charge to your room

Upon check-in, you will be required to leave a credit card imprint for all incidental charges. The hotel will place a $100 per night hold on your card for incidentals. The hold is released at the end of your stay. We recommend that you use a credit card for this and NOT a debit card as the hold on the debit card actually removes the funds from your bank account.

January in the Tulum area of Mexico is perfect weather. Temperatures average highs of 82°F, while nightly temperatures are around 68°F. 

The attire for the education sessions is business casual. For dinners in the resort restaurants, resort casual is requested.

We recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket for the meetings as well as for evenings around the resort.
